What is a dose and how do you make a dose bottle?

We consider a dose to be a few drops from a “stock” bottle as purchased or a few drops from the diluted contents of a “dose” bottle. We refer to a dose bottle as one that is holding several drops from the stock bottle, with pure water added to dilute.

Here is an example of a dilution recipe:

Into a clean empty 1 oz. bottle, put 4-7 drops of the liquid from a stock bottle. Then fill the remaining space in the bottle with water. Put the top back on and shake. Be sure to put a label on the bottle. Consider this a dose bottle.
